Electrophoretic Coating

The painting by electrophoresis is a surface treatment that gives to steel and other metal alloys (current-carrying conductors) an highly resistant to corrosion. The electrophoresis process is characterized by a uniform deposit of an epoxy resin (or acrylic) on the surface of the workpiece. It ensures an excellent long-term protection against chemicals and other types of aggressive agents, it also allows for better adhesion of painting finish.

The acrylic resin differs from the epoxy resin. The acrylic one can be exposed to the atmospheric agents maintaining its technical characteristics. This surface treatment therefore ensures an higher protection against rust.
